Bird Doppelgangers 1

When you are learning bird identification, it can be relatively easy to tell a Northern Cardinal male (all bright red with black face mask) from an American Robin (gray-brown head, wings, and tail with dark orange breast and belly). But what about those species that are more difficult to tell apart because they look so similar?

This is one of two quizzes geared towards identification of species that look similar to each other. Can you separate each species from its doppleganger? It may be useful to consult a bird ID field guide unless you want to challenge your bird identification skills.
